Little Lids Giving Back
Your purchase makes a difference. Little Lids giving back is very important to us. As soon as the profit margin allowed, we established a charitable division to raise money for children with cancer, missing children and a local dog shelter. For each Little Lids cap sold, we donate $1 to one of these amazing organizations
As Little Lids grows, our contributions will too.
Below is a brief description of each charity and why they are important and dear to our hearts.
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® provides services, resources and technical assistance to child victims of abduction and sexual exploitation, their families and the professionals who serve them.
Like every parent watching the news when a child is abducted, a child runs away from home or a child is sexually exploited, my heart skips a beat and my stomach begins to ache. The parents of these children are having their worst nightmare come true. A hell I never want to experience firsthand. It's a good feeling knowing this outstanding resource is available and has helped so many families. Little Lids is proud to donate to such a good cause.
St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. They have spent more than half a century finding cures and saving children, and their groundbreaking research has helped push the survival rate for childhood cancer from less than 20% in 1962 to more than 80% today.
Childhood and cancer should not be in the same sentence. Another parent’s worst nightmare is to find out their child has cancer. The stories I have read are remarkable and I cannot say enough about St. Jude. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Save A Dog, Inc. is a Massachusetts-based humane society whose focus is abandoned dogs. They take in local dogs of all breeds, sizes, and shapes who have become homeless for one reason or another.
We love doggies here at Little Lids and after losing our family’s golden doodle JoJo last April, we wanted to do something special in her memory. We are happy to help out this all-volunteer dog rescue organization and may be adopting a rescue dog someday.
